As a first batch BCA Student, I look back on my time at Marian as a life learning experience. At first, I felt like any other newcomer, anxious toward entering the new BCA program, yet the anxiety soon faded away as I got to know other students and faculty members, whom I always thought of as my family. We all enjoyed our time together in college and continue to keep our good relationships with all of the classmates, even after 20+ years. Life is not easy and this friendship that we have built keeps us together in our good and bad times. Thanks a million for all the memories that meant the world to me, and for all the academic and life lessons, taught me throughout the college years that made me who I am today.
Studying BCA at Marian laid the foundations for my life in many different aspects. The entire faculty and departments ensured that all fundamental concepts are thoroughlyunderstood. Their friendly nature and calming influence helped me to reach for academic heights with a freshness of freedom. The exposure to well-equipped labs and practical sessions helped etching the learning to my mind. The campus prepared me to develop my character in multi-dimensional ways, both professional and personal, with various curricular and extracurricular activities. The friendships that I gained in the classes and hostels remain lifelong comraderies, supports and encouragements. Thanks to all my teachers, management and friends for the wonderful 3 years of formation.
College Life at Marian has always been full of excitement, thrill and inspiration. Marian has played a major role in giving me the skills and confidence to take up challenges in the real world. The course content, training, teaching methodology and the exposure given to us by the Department and the College has helped me in my career.
Through-out my learning phase, I've never experienced anything even closeto"Marian Family". We were welcomed by a warm and experienced group of teachers, seniors and a management team and closely nurtured so that we discover the best within each of us during our time at Marian. Each of us turned out to be leaders, we discovered our strengths and weaknesses and built enduring relationships while going through a rigorous and disciplined curriculum. We've been groomed to be socially responsible, inclusive, resilient and humble leaders and I'm sure each of us are able to demonstrate what we've learnt in our families, our workplace and our society. I'm really proud to be part of such a fraternity and look forward to endorsing Marian to our future generations.
Studying at Marian college is truly a blessing for me, not just because of the unique learning experience but the focus that every student gets in terms of personality development and academic excellence. You definitely feel like a close-knit team, where each staff member is always ready to guide and support you. Marian paved the foundation for me to get my Masters in the United States and later on prove myself throughout my career till date.
Although my entire higher education was at Marian, my BCA years were exceptionally enjoyable and memorable. It was a life changing experience to be able to meet so many incredible friends and teachers. I am eternally grateful for all the memories on campus, hostel life, all the leadership opportunities I had, the serene Kuttikkanam climate and mist... It's the fairy tale nostalgia Marian alumni yearn to relive 20+ years later.
My experience at Marian will be a memorable one throughout my life. I can still remember the first day I was in the BCA Department and three years went just so fast. The most beautiful days of my life, of- course of any Marianite. I am lucky enough to have young and vibrant teachers at Marian and they all are committed to nurturing me academically and in my personal life. I can lucidly say that my teachers have helped me to develop my industry knowledge and soft skills. The foundation laid before me during the three years’ time at Marian has led me to a successful career and made me what I am today.
Words can’t express my happiness when I first saw Marian campus. It was like a dream come true moment for me. The quality of facilities provided at Marian are definitely the best. All the events I participated had helped me to raise my confidence level both academically and non-academically specially thank BCA department for guiding me to achieve my career goals.
To be a part of the Marian family is always a matter of pride and fortune; the place where I learnt, celebrated life and got moulded to a better professional. I graduated in 2007, yet she is close to my heart. Marian College; the name itself is a promise!

The biggest reason I love my college is that it accepted and nurtured me for what I was. I was never a studious student nor someone who always went by the books. I had a habit of breaking rules and coming up with the most bizarre excuses! I had many flaws (and still have!) but the department of BCA trusted me with opportunities and instilled a sense of confidence in me, for which, I am grateful to them and all the other teachers I came across at Marian College Kuttikanam. The continuous learning culture of Marian has enabled me to adapt to the roles I had to take up in my career. The campus is teeming with opportunities to organise events and sharpen your leadership skills. The assignments and events where I worked with my peers has prepared me for even an unprecedented year of remote working. The Computer Applications Department is one of the most qualified groups of teachers who take care in helping students choose an academic or a career path and nurture them to walk the path they choose.
