Established in 1995, the BCA department emerged as a pioneering force in computer education within the region. With a vision to nurture young minds and empower them with cutting-edge knowledge in computer applications, the department laid the foundation for excellence in technology-driven education. During its formative years, the curriculum focused on fundamental concepts of computer science, programming languages, and software development methodologies.

Started in 1995 with one batch of 60 students in government aided stream, department added its second batch with 60 students in the self-financing stream in 2021.

As the demand for skilled IT professionals surged, the BCA department expanded its offerings to meet the industry’s requirements. Introducing specialized courses in areas such as database management, web development, and networking, the department ensured that students received comprehensive training aligned with industry trends.
