The Department of Computer Applications, functioning from the very inception of the college in 1995, offers a full-time Bachelor’s Programme with six semesters leading to the degree of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). The programme follows Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and conforms to the Outcome Based Education (OBE).

BCA@Marian is a three-year professional undergraduate degree programme to provide an in-depth understanding of real-time IT domains blended with hands-on experience in the area of Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Virtualization & Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Management, Process Management, Client Relationship Management, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, various Programming Languages like C++, JAVA, PYTHON, SQL/PLSQL, Android and Software Testing.

The industry-ready curriculum created and developed in conjunction with Tata Consultancy Services makes this programme unique. The curriculum ensures that the graduates of the programme have a thorough understanding of the core topics of Computer Science as well as a profound understanding of the current industry standards across the enterprise.
