Building Bridges Between Generations- A Marian social Initiative
The School of Social Work, in association with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized the inaugural session of the Programme on Inter-Generational Bonding in Colleges on 5 June 2026 at MAGIS, Marian College Kuttikkanam Autonomous. The programme was inaugurated by Adv. Syriac Thomas, Hon. MLA, Peermade Legislative Assembly Constituency. Through expert sessions on ageing, senior citizen welfare policies, inter-generational bonding, and community-based elderly engagement, the programme promoted meaningful dialogue and strengthened awareness of the importance of fostering connections across generations. The initiative reflects Marian College’s enduring commitment to social responsibility, community engagement, and the creation of an inclusive and compassionate society.
