Marian World Environment Day and HARITHAM release
The Marian Centre for Sustainable Development (MCSD) observed World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 with a special programme featuring Dr. Abraham Joseph, Member of the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS), as the Chief Guest. The event also witnessed the release of HARITHAM, an e-book documenting nearly sixty medicinal plants of Kerala, compiled by VAC students from BSW, B.Com., B.A. Applied Economics, and Integrated M.Sc. Physics programmes. The publication reflects Marian College’s commitment to environmental sustainability, experiential learning, and the preservation of indigenous ecological knowledge.
