The Department of Communication and Media Studies at Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous) proudly announces the patent registration of Newsroom Assistant AI Console, published in The Patent Office Journal No. 40/2025 on October 3, 2025. This innovative design, developed by Fr. Sobi Thomas, Prof. M. Vijayakumar, and Mr. Gilbert A. R., enhances newsroom operations through artificial intelligence integration. The achievement reflects the department’s growing focus on creative research, innovation, and technological advancement under the KAPILA initiative by the Government of India.
